Prince William County VA Grease Trap Pumping Service

If you own a restaurant in Prince William County VA, you know how important grease trap pumping service is.  The lowly grease trap is a critical component to the successful operation of your business.  Ideally, you should have your trap pumped every four to six weeks.  If that’s not happening, then you run the risk having the system back up, which will shut you down for several days, damaging your business, your brand, and your bottom line.  Not good.

Even worse, if you’ve ever tried to clean your grease trap yourself, you know how messy and awful the process can be.  That’s why most restaurant owners opt to outsource it.  It’s just not worth the headache and hassle.  Given the trap’s importance though, that’s not something you want to let just anyone handle for you.  You need an expert in your corner.

We are Prince William County VA’s #1 grease trap pumping service company, and since we first opened our doors in 1977, we’ve been building our reputation by exceeding the expectations of every customer we serve.

When you call on us, here’s what you can expect:

  • We’ll completely drain your grease trap, emptying it of grease, sludge, and any other materials that may be caught in it
  • Once it’s empty, we’ll perform a thorough inspection and cleaning of the tank itself, and all the baffles
  • Then, we’ll test the system once it’s clean to be sure that waste and water are flowing back into it properly
  • And finally, we’ll properly dispose of all the materials we pumped from your tank

Ideally, you should have this done every four to six weeks, but if your employees don’t know how the grease trap functions, they may be doing things that could require you to have your system serviced more frequently, costing you hard earned money.  Education is key, and here are a few things you should be sure your employees know not to do:

  • Don’t pour hot water straight into the trap – This will dissolve the grease, releasing it from the trap and allowing it to flow into your sewage system (septic or municipal)
  • Don’t connect a dishwasher to the trap – For the same reason you don’t want to pour hot water into it
  • Don’t connect a garbage disposal to the trap
  • Don’t pour additives or chemicals of any kind into the trap (including bleach or chemical drain cleaners)

As long as your employees aren’t doing those things, the 4-6 week cleaning interval should be just fine.

As Prince William County VA’s top-rated grease trap pumping service, we can provide the service to you at a fair price, and get the job done quickly and professionally, giving you one less thing to worry about.  Call us today, you’ll be very glad you did.
