Advantage Septic Service is a locally and independently owned business specializing in residential and commercial wastewater system inspection, maintenance and repair. With more than 15 licensed technicians and 25 years serving residents and businesses in Northern Virginia, we provide the most value and best customer service experience.
Our founder and CEO, Mike Lynn, is a Nokesville, Virginia native who graduated from BDHS & studied soil science at Virginia Tech. Mike is recognized as a leader in the industry - appointed by the commissioner of health as the Chairman for the VA Department of Health Advisory Committee the past 13 years. Mike is past president and current board member for the Virginia Onsite Wastewater Association and has served on the State Leaders Committee at the national level. Mike has more than 35 years of industry experience and is a VA Licensed Professional Soil Scientist, septic system operator, soil evaluator and installer. Mike is very active in his community and gives back at every opportunity - volunteering with organizations like Youth for Tomorrow. Our staff is equally qualified and committed to our community representing and volunteering for many organizations and charities across Northern Virginia and abroad.
Mike believes in the Golden Rule from the Gospel of Matthew (7:12): “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you” This rule of conduct is a summary of his and the company's duty to our neighbors and states the fundamental ethical principles on which Advantage Septic Service operates.

Rooted in the practice of soil and environmental science we’ve guided clients like you through the health department approval process for alternative onsite sewage systems or Virginia Department of Health regulations. Advantage Septic has quietly diversified to complement our core services and fill voids left by others-gaining the respect of our Clients and Health Departments in the state of Virginia and surrounding areas.
